The Netherlands Radio Philharmonic Orchestra is celebrating 75 years this week. Besides the three jubilee concerts, the NPO Radio4 programme Podium marked the celebration by inviting members of the orchestra and shining the light on a couple of ensembles they form. Violin duo JuMa played the Third movement of the Sonata by Sergey Prokofiev Op.56 and a piece of Sarah Stiles: ‘Armchair Rage’ composed in 1991.
